STONE SURFACES

Granite & Quartz

The customer will choose their granite or quartz, typically at Boston Granite Exchange.  The stone is then purchased by Ben and it is delivered to his shop.  Ben meets with the customer at home to complete a template for precise measurements.  

Ben cuts each piece from the stone slabs and polishes it to specifications.  Edges can be smooth or have a chiseled edge depending on your individual preference.

Sinks:

Ben will work with you to pick out the perfect sink. Ben orders your preferred sink so it arrives at shop in time for stone fabrication and will install it at your home at the time of the stone installation.

Backsplashes:

If you would like a backsplash, Ben can fabricate that for you from your granite or quartz for a perfect finishing touch.

Seams:

Most kitchens are large enough to require a seam or two.  Ben limits the seams to as few as possible, providing the stone can sustain its own weight (without breakage) for installation.  The idea is for the strongest piece of granite or quartz to last a lifetime.  Anytime a seam is necessary, very precise cuts are made and extra care is taken to create a virtually unnoticeable joint.
